Another year has gone and we are looking at what we have in store for you in 2019, from wedding fairs to the largest baby and toddler fair in Norfolk at The Norfolk Showground in March, we certainly have our hands full!
We hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Before we plunge into wedding fairs in 2019, we have been enjoying some much needed family time and celebrating our first Christmas as a family of four, since the arrival of our Son Cameron in the Summer.
We’ve been battling extreme vomiting (not from a heavy rather NYE but instead CMPA & possible other allergies), sleepness nights, teething (first little tooth made an appearence on New Years Day!) and all of the other trials and tribulations from having a little one. That aside, he is a happy little chappy, he makes us smile everyday and it won’t be long before he is off causing havoc and wanting to get involved in our small family business.
So what’s going on in 2019? Well, we are starting off in Kings Lynn next weekend at the Corn Exchange. This will be our second wedding fair here and we have 40 exhibitors to help couples plan their wedding. As with lots of our wedding fairs, we are very lucky to have the continued support from Adnams who sponsor our welcome drinks to make our couples feel that extra bit special sipping Prosecco whilst our suppliers make their dreams a reality.
There is no rest for the wicked, because the following Sunday, we are hosting our first wedding fair at the stunning Sprowston Manor Hotel in Norwich. We were approached last Summer to run their wedding fairs and somehow have managed to squeeze them in, alongside six other wedding fair venues. Yes, we are crazy!
In February, we are heading back to the exclusive Kimberley Hall and The Forum in March. Later in the year, we will be back at Caistor Hall and at our Suffolk veues – The Athenaeum in Bury St Edmunds and The Oaksmere near Eye.
We strive to offer all of our exhibitors value for money to help you promote your business and make it stand apart from the others, encouraging people to utilise what you offer and also to shop local. Afterall, we are members of the social enterprise Buy Local Norfolk.
We often get asked how to make the most out of exhibiting at a trade fair. So quite some time ago, we put together a list of do’s and don’t to assist suppliers. Whether you are just starting out in the wedding or baby industry or are a seasoned pro, click here, as it is definitely worth a read.
Lastly, we would like to wish all of our customers and suppliers a very Happy and Prosperous New Year and we look forward to seeing you over the coming months.
