That’s a wrap for 2019
With our wedding fair season over, we are trying to have a well deserved little rest. It’s been pretty non stop here. Saying that, it never really stops, especially when you work for yourself. With wedding fairs, we are always selling stands for shows well in advance.
2019 has certainly flown by for us! It has been a bit of a crazy wedding fair season! What with 10 wedding shows in 7 different venues, not to mention The Norfolk Bump & Beyond Baby and Toddler Fair – Norfolk’s largest baby show at The Norfolk Showground which we also run, it has been a bit chaotic at times! All that, plus as we’re sure you know, Mark is also a wedding photographer and we have The Little AdVan Company too! And if that wasn’t enough, we have two small children and Meryl also has her own business!
The Wedding Club
A few weeks ago, we announced The Wedding Club, which is will be a monthly meet-up for wedding industry professionals to chat, discuss and share ideas, experiences and challenges, make new friends and network – all at an informal social meeting. We have our launch event on Monday 28th October from 7.30-9.00pm at The Maids Head Hotel in Norwich, who are kindly sponsoring this first meeting. It will be nice for wedding suppliers to be able to meet up and not have to worry about setting up their wedding fair stand, promoting their products or racing around and delivering their services for a wedding. Most suppliers only meet like passing ships in the night! Us included sometimes! Instead, think no pretence – just be you.
What’s on the horizon?
We have some exciting news on the horizon too, so please keep your eye on our pages. We have so many companies that we speak to now that the best way to ensure that you don’t miss out on the news is to join our mailing list on the homepage of our website.
We have always tried to give as much back to our exhibitors as possible, the free brides data after each fair, the free 100 word listing on the website and free inclusion on our recommended suppliers list. Did you know we also invite our suppliers to write guest blogs for our website? Provided we haven’t published a blog on a similar subject in the last 12 months. If this sounds of interest to you please get in touch!
